with family recipes, will you book be about something that interest you? Each goal should have different causes and actions
for your future business plan. Know what the reasoning is for writing your book.
2. Publishing a book should be treated as a real business. You are going
from author to the publishing world. You will not be seen as only a writer, you will be producing a book as a publisher. All
the profits will be yours.
3. Be conscious of the business side of publishing. You will need to write
a business plan. It doesn't have to be lengthy document, but it should include the costs you will need to obtain the funds
it will take for the cost of mailing your book. This business plan should account for the future expenses you will incur,
as well as the expenses for pre-publication.
4. A marketing plan. You could have one of the best books in the whole
world, but it must be known or no one will purchase it.
5. You should write
about something your familiar with. You can't expect to write about something you have a hard time talking about. Write something
that is exciting to you. Choose your subject that causes people to ask you for your advice.
6. Know what type of people that will purchase your book. Don't get tunnel
vision thinking everyone will want your information. This might be the case, but not every person will want to buy. Research
the market on your subject and determine who needs this information!
